To avoid the aforementioned issues, play the game peaceful or download the executable.

Rouge-Like Dungeon Themed Shooter. You're a valiant Viking working your way through the Dungeons of Hell, gathering the Lost Souls of your Viking Brethren to help them find their way to Valhalla. Plus an infinite about of Randomly Generated Levels.

Global Game Jam: https://globalgamejam.org/2021/games/lost-souls-0

This was made during the 48 Hour 2021 Global Game Jam. Created by Daniel Bresnahan, James Alison & myself (Reece Turner). Unlike the last Game Jam project such as "The Story of Yu", assets such as the UI, Models and Sound were Sourced Online.

Note: If the UI doesn't scale correctly to your Resolution, please navigate to the settings and use the Menu UI Scaling Slider to fix the issue.

man the game seems interesting, but is far too buggy and crashy on web version, I hope that it could use some optimization and could work better on web version, either way the game seems interesting and fun.

Thanks for giving it a go and providing feedback : )

Unfortunately, this project was only being developed during the 48-hour Game Jam and is no longer under development. We are aware of the problems that plague the WebGL version but due to the circumstances of the development, not a lot of testing or fixing could be done.

Once again I thank you for playing our game and appreciate the feedback/review. Currently, we are working on a bigger game that's been in development for the past couple of months which is similar to Lost Souls but much more in-depth.
(Hopefully, it should be on steam and possibly Itch.io)

oh really that's cool but what will it be called?

Currently, the project has a placeholder name of "DawnSky" but this will not be the final name.

I can't give away too much but it's a multiplier rogue-lite with gameplay aspects from Outriders, Gunfire Reborn, Diablo & Risk of Rain.

oh really that's really cool but I just want to ask 1 more question, will there be a demo, or a beta for playtesting?when its somewhat complete?

Yes, there will* be a demo. It will be a limited version of the actual game but there should be a free demo on both steam and itch.io.

Although, we still have a couple of months of development left before an actual released version, plus any delays that may occur.
